Snazzy Custom Ads in Magazines

It’s not just out-of-home advertising that’s being customized, either.  Magazines publishers are running custom ads  specific to each of their publications. An example is Hearst who created a whole series of ads for LG, with a “design for living” ad and specific microsite set up for House Beautiful, and a Cosmopolitan ad for LG’s cell phones connects to a site about texting.  As ad page sales continue to decrease (they’re down by 28% so far this year), it’s more likely that more magazines will try more creative outlets to get those sales. http://www.nytimes.com/2009/09/04/business/media/04adco.html?_r=2
