About The Media Mash-Up

Elizabeth Sheer, in her capacity as the Director of Business Intelligence at Partners in Human Resources International,  started the Media Mash-Up in 2008  as a newsletter designed to help media folks in the midst of a job transistion to understand the changes that were going on as different media fragmented and converged.

Since its inception, it was designed as a source where aggregated recent news could be analyzed, and hopefully better understood in the context of a rapidly changing world. The readership of the newsletter has grown to the point where it makes sense for it to be public.  In addition, it would be great to create a forum where these issues could be discussed.

The hope has always been, and remains, that the Media Mash-up is a vehicle for making sense of  recent news about media as an industry and an insightful and amusing read.
